CK Raut a Madhesi extremist has been captured under a subversion case which is as of now being trailed under the Special Court forever term. Raut has been pushing partition of Madhes from Nepal and has been subverting people in general against the nation.

As per sources Morang District Police documented the case requesting life term for Raut under Section 3 of Crime against State and Punishment Act, 1989.The Section expresses that If somebody causes or endeavors to bring on any confusion with an expectation to risk power, uprightness or national solidarity of Nepal, he/she should be obligated to life detainment.

Raut through his books and articles has been pushing free Madhes and looked for partition of the area from Koshi to Mahakali as independent Madhes. He has composed different rally and assembling for dispersing his belief system.

In the past pioneers like Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Baburam Bhattarai, Mohan Baidhya, BP Koirala and Ramraja Prasad Singh all have been indicted under a similar law.

He came back to Nepal in 2011 from the U.S. where he was the focal facilitator at the Non Resident Madhes Association and Alliance of Independent Madhes (AIM) enrolled with the American government.
